Electronic forklift is a kind of efficient and reliable aerial work platform which widely used in the construction process. Obviously, proper usage is one of the most significant thing to help an electric forklift working better and ensuring a long service life. Here are the tips you need to know, and we mainly focus on the daily maintenance today.

1.Cleaning and Inspection Before Use
a．Remember to clean up the dirt and dust and check the tighten situation of bracket, set screw and wheel retain pin.
b．Check the reliability and flexibility of the brake and steering gear
c．Check all pipes, joints, pumps and valves for leakage and damage. Check whether the oil tank and water tank are at normal work.

2.Preparations Before Start Up The Machine
a．The pointer of oil-level meter should be located in the middle of the dial.
b．Check the service braking system: the free travel of brake pedal shall be 40mm, and the clearance between the bottom plate and pedal shall be greater than 20mm.
c. Check whether the instrument boards, lighting system, connector lugs, switches and electrical circuit are st normal work.

3.The Usage and Maintenance of the Storage Battery
a.In the process of first and boost charge of storage battery, provisions of the battery instruction should be strictly complied.
b.Stop operation immediately when any of the following situations occur:
The battery voltage is reduced to 40V.
The battery capacity value reduced to less than 30%.
Any single battery voltage drops below 1.7v.
Any acoustooptic alarming appears on the dashboard
c.After use, the forklift must be charged as soon as possible, and the charging time shall not exceed 24 hours. It is necessary to prevent undercharging and overcharging and pay enough attention to the electrolytic liquid change of proportion, liquid level height and temperature, etc.

4.Additional Notes
a. Essential components should be replaced regularly as required. Do not use different types of lubricating oil when replacing.
b. Any breakdown or failure shall be reported to the administrative personnel. The electric forklift can only be used again after Repairing.
c. The drivers and repairmen can only be allowed to work with qualification certification.
